The DS18B20/DS1820 is a waterproof digital temperature sensor with a stainless steel sheath, suitable for wet or harsh environments. It uses a 1-Wire interface, supports 9 to 12-bit resolution, and can operate parasitically without an external power supply. Unique serial IDs enable multi-sensor setups, ideal for HVAC and industrial monitoring.
