The Infrared Line Tracking Sensor TCRT5000 (3 Pins) detects reflected infrared light using a built-in IR LED and phototransistor. It provides a digital output when a line or object is detected. With fixed sensitivity and a compact design, it’s ideal for line-following robots and basic IR-based obstacle detection in indoor environments.

Specifications:
  • Operating voltage: 3V to 5V DC
  • Operating current: ~20mA
  • Detection range: Up to 15mm
  • Output type: Digital (LOW when line detected, HIGH otherwise)
  • Viewing angle: ~35 degrees
  • Sensitivity: Fixed (non-adjustable)
