GY-BMI160 6DOF 6-Axis Gyroscope and Accelerometer Sensor Module 3-5V

The GY-BMI160 is a 6DOF inertial measurement module that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer on a single board using the Bosch BMI160 chip. The module measures rotation across five selectable gyroscope ranges from +/-125 to +/-2000 degrees per second and acceleration across four selectable ranges from +/-2g to +/-16g, with a built-in 16 bit AD converter giving 16 bit data output on both sensor sets. The module communicates over standard IIC or SPI, runs from a 3-5V supply through an internal low dropout regulator, and uses 2.54mm pin spacing for breadboard and header mounting. The module is built on a heavy gold PCB with a machine soldering process to ensure quality. The module is used in augmented reality and immersive gaming, 3D scanning and indoor mapping, pedestrian navigation, indoor dead-reckoning and step counting, 6- and 9-axis sensor fusion air mouse applications, and optical image stabilization.
