Features:

The Flame Sensor 5MM Phototransistor is an infrared sensing component that detects the light emitted by a flame within the 760nm to 1100nm wavelength range. The sensor uses an NPN silicon phototransistor housed in a 5mm black epoxy package that filters visible light and responds to the infrared radiation produced by fire. The sensor offers a detection angle of about 60 degrees and a fast 15 microsecond response time, allowing it to react quickly to flame flicker. The sensor is used in fire alarm systems, industrial safety monitoring, firefighting robots, boiler and burner flame supervision, and Arduino based fire detection projects.
