The Color Recognition Sensor TCS230/TCS3200 is a high-precision color detection module combining the TCS3200 RGB sensor chip with four white LEDs for uniform illumination. It detects visible colors using photodetectors filtered for red, green, blue, or clear light. The sensor outputs a square-wave frequency signal proportional to the intensity of the selected color channel, making it ideal for applications such as color sorting, test strip reading, ambient light monitoring, and color calibration.
