The 74HC173 is a high speed CMOS quad D-type flip-flop with three-state outputs designed for register and bus interfacing applications. It supports synchronous operation with gated inputs and outputs, low power consumption, and high noise immunity, making it suitable for digital systems, memory registers, and data storage circuits.
